Short Bio Multimedia artist Lisa Tolliver is a New York native and consummate tourist. The influences of her family's multiculturalism, military service, and early experiences - such as surviving Hurricane Camille, marching for Civil Rights, and being bused (past KKK headquarters) to integrate grade schools across town - are evident in her creative works. Also apparent are her academic training and professional experience.
Lisa (AB Harvard, MBA+post-graduate Columbia) attended Ford Foundation-sponsored training for outstanding journalists and media gatekeepers at Columbia Journalism School, the Library of Congress Fieldschool for Cultural Documentation at BYU, and technical skills training offered by the New York and Vermont Folklore Societies. She has exhibited and won awards for photography, radio journalism, writing, oration and cultural documentation.

Her productions are made possible, in part, through the sponsorship by THE FIELD (they grow art!), 360 MERIDIAN (they're all around world class!), DEE HARGROVE (she's the best!), and USPS (they deliver!).
