March 8, 2016 is International Women’s Day, and KPFA Radio is hosting Story Café, an hour-long celebration of the history of women, at 7:00 pm live in KPFA’s Performance studio, 1929 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Berkeley, CA 94704.

Story Café will include a radio drama by Jovelyn Richards set in a restaurant where the menu is full of possibilities every night.  The program will feature the voices of women from the present and the past, and live music by harpist Destiny Muhammad and other special guests.
