“Poets & Composers Salon” is a monthly house concert that presents the best indie talent of the Bay Area in an intimate, home setting.   Each Salon features ambient duo Phoenix Rising, spoken word/music ensemble COPUS, and guest artist including storytellers, poets, singers, videographers, dancers, and instrumentalists.  The intimate setting of a home provides the perfect backdrop for creativity, networking, stimulating conversation, and putting away the distractions of technology for a few hours.

Phoenix Rising creates soundscapes of light and energy featuring composer/pianist Wendy Loomis and flutist/arranger Monica Williams; COPUS delivers powerful lyrics and beautiful melodies featuring composer/pianist Wendy Loomis, poet/spoken word artist Royal Kent, flutist Monica Williams, bassist Patrick Mahon, and drummer Greg McRay.
