Women in Art is an international exhibition of modern and contemporary visual arts organized by Leda Maria and The Ward-Nasse Gallery and Museum in New York. This will be the ninth annual Women in Art exhibit in honor of International Women’s Day at Ward Nasse Gallery, 178 Prince Street, New York, NY. The exhibit will feature 30 artists, coming from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Finland, Poland, Portugal and the United States.

The goal of the exhibition is to give international visibility to all of the participating artists. ​The artists were selected by the gallery curator, Leda Maria, and the art director, Mr. Harry Nasse. The exhibition has been designed to showcase each artist and to establish a dialogue between the art and the viewers which will help the public understand and appreciate the works on display.

The Exhibit runs from March 1 – 31. Gallery Hours are Tuesdays-Saturdays 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sundays 1- 6 p.m. The Opening Reception is Saturday, March 5 from 4 – 7 p.m.
