Marcy B. Freedman joins the musicians of SKIN AGAINST METAL to present a program of words, images, and music in honor of Women’s History Month.

During the past year, Freedman conducted six group discussion sessions with women aged 55 to 95 in order to explore the pros and cons of aging, from a female perspective.  The conversations were amazing.   Freedman was inspired to write a monologue using quotations from the participants, as well as more general cultural reference points.   For this performance, Freedman’s collaborators, Nanette Garcia and Maurice Minichino of SKIN AGAINST METAL, will provide an ambient soundscape and musical interludes.
