Shakespeare’s Will
March 14, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - April 1, 2018 @ 8:30 pm
| $25NACL Theatre presents SHAKESPEARE’S WILL by award-winning playwright Vern Thiessen (Of Human Bondage), starring Tannis Kowalchuk (Struck, Courage) as Anne Hathaway, begins March 14 at HERE for a limited run through April 1.
Loosely based on the few historical facts known about the Bard, Anne, and their family life, SHAKESPEARE’S WILL begins on the afternoon of Shakespeare’s funeral. As Anne hesitates to open the will, she relives her colorful and unorthodox life.
Performed with physical prowess, dynamic theatricality and live music, NACL’s production of Vern Thiessen’s epic monologue delves into a complex female experience of 16th century life while drawing contemporary parallels to modern love, children, work, and loss.
