Presenting Irony 2.0-The Water Series as a part of World Water Day
In an event organized by the United Nations, Cathy and Company will live stream Irony 2.0 at https://www.facebook.com/cathy.taister as a part of World Water Dance Day.

On March 22, movement artists throughout the world will partner with Global Water Dances https://globalwaterdances.org/ to call attention to their local water issues. Water Rights have become urgent enough for the United Nations to do a story about World Water Day. The United Nations are convinced the Global Water Dances event is an inspiration to others.

Irony includes an exciting new dance work and a short documentary video about the Global Water Dances organization. Cathy and Company’s event will highlight a little known water problem in Michigan. In a state where one is never more than 5 miles from water, many can’t afford this basic necessity. While we dance in a giant shower, 40% of Detroiters have their access to a water threatened. In the short term, we will donate 50 bottles of water used as props in Irony to help support local residents. In the long term, does the answer lie in our nature resources?
