Act Like A Feminist Artist – A Guerrilla Girl Unmasks

March 22, 2018 - April 20, 2018

| Free

“Act Like a Feminist Artist – A Guerrilla Girl Unmasks” is an insiders look at what went behind the posters, protests, fax blitzes, speak outs and street theatre actions the Guerrilla Girls used to attack and expose sexism and racism in theatre. Inspired by Guerrilla Girl Aphra Behn’s (aka Donna Kaz) twenty years on the front line of feminist activism, this interactive talk is a humorous and enlightening step by step how-to guide to effect change by combining activism and art and includes readings from the memoir, “UN/MASKED, Memoirs of a Guerrilla Girl On Tour.”  Tour includes stops in Glen Cove, NY; Wilkes Barre, PA; Bayshore, NY; Scranton, PA; Los Angeles, CA and Tampa, FL.
