Drink in a global view of women’s communal dance, from ancient paintings, rock art, sculpture and murals, to modern photos of dancers. Then ourselves dance the sacred Round.

WOMAN SHAMAN
Saturday April 21st, 2018

We will pass through visual portals of invocation, ceremony, transformance, and healing, as shown in ancient art and living traditions around the world. Speak in circle on healing the female, releasing cultural spells of domination, on our spiritual approaches and experiences. And dance the sacred Round.

Max Dashu founded the Suppressed Histories Archives in 1970 to research women’s history internationally and understand how systems of domination established and perpetuate themselves.
