About SWAN Day Pittsburgh

SWAN Day Pittsburgh is produced annually by the No Name Players, a non-profit theatre company. Every year, the No Name Players interview women and girls in Pennsylvania and then ask local artists to create new works based on the interviews.

SWAN Day Pittsburgh features world premiere works by Pittsburgh’s female musicians, dancers, poets, theatre artists, visual artists, filmmakers, and fashion designers that have been especially created to express the thoughts and visions of the women and girls who were interviewed.

SWAN Day Pittsburgh 2013 will also include a pre-show reception featuring a champagne toast sponsored by Perle, hors d’oeuvres graciously provided by big Burrito Group, Atria’s, and Blue, live music, dancers, and more.
