Please join me in celebrating the work of the MFA EDA class of 2016 at our opening reception and thesis show. I’m presenting a gallery exhibit About A Plane Crash, as well as screening the film, A Movie About A Plane Crash, at 8PM in the Full Frame Theater with a Q&A to follow.

About A Plane Crash is an autobiographical artwork about a major life event for my family and I when our small plane went down deep in the mountains of Idaho in the summer of ’97, the film examines our resiliance and tenacity to survive, recover and carry on with our lives. In the film my brother and I meet our rescue team and revisit the crash site, learning about the crash and ourselves along the way. By confronting the memory of the plane crash we reclaim the control post traumatic stress has had in our lives.
