| Free

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Arts, multi-year Fellow L. Martina Young reads from her 3rd and newest literary installation of SWAN: a poetical inquiry in dance, text & memoir – Supported with funds from Nevada Arts Council/National Endowment for the Arts.  Northern Nevada women artists will gather together for our 2nd annual SWAN DAY celebration with delicious foodstuffs, rich conversation, new meetings & greetings as our collective narrative continues.

The Swan Project is a multi-dimensional investigation of the ‘swan’ as a trope found in myth, music, poetry, literature, philosophy, alchemy, dance, and art. Generative in the truest sense of the term, The Swan Project continues to evolve through its production of new creative work in dance, painting, literature, performance, and art installations.
