Roxanne Fay’s original play, Paradise Whiskey, will be presented as part of An Evening With Jon And Sister Mae  at Stageworks Theatre, Tampa, FL,  March 24-26th, 2017.

The story of an ancient and disfigured woman in Kentucky 1940’s coal country, her nightmare life and her determination to now enjoy her hard won peace and quiet on the front porch of her crumbling shack.

A woman of press grit and spiritual strength, Sister Mae recounts the horrors of her life with humor and humanity. Previously chosen as part of the United Solo Festival, NYC (presented with its sister piece, Everlasting Moon, under the collective title Home Fires Burning).
